Hi, I’m Kelli!
It’s great to meet you and I’m so glad that you’re here.
See, you and I have traveled similar paths and have a pretty good sense of how you’re feeling:
ANXIOUS! After years of struggling with anxiety and anxious eating, I took my mental, emotional, and physical health into my own hands and healed from the inside out through a combination of alternative healing practices involving yoga, meditation, mental inquiry, massage, journaling, creativity, movement and exercise, quality sleep, clean eating, and social connections. I that sounds like a lot, but I’m a devoted fan of a diverse, holistic, and fun functional health lifestyle. In other words, there’s more than one path up the mountain and the journey to the top must be enjoyable and lead to gratifying results.
I’m a professor, life, weight, and functional health coach with expertise in mental and emotional health, generalized anxiety, anxious eating, weight loss, how small simple steps lead to lasting change, and the art and science of feeling better and living well.
I have a doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision and have trained clinical, school, and college counselors for over twenty years. I am also a certified Life and Weight Coach through The Life Coach School. Currently, I am completing my certification as an ADAPT Functional Health Coach through Kresser Institute and specializing in hypothyroidism and menopause. In my private coaching practice, I teach women how to take charge of their minds, emotions, and behaviors compassionately so they can feel better, lose weight, love themselves fiercely, and live well.
When I’m not teaching, coaching, and evolving, you will find me hanging out with my amazing family, which includes our furry four-leggeds, reading, gardening, when it’s not winter, and singing and dancing to old R & B in the kitchen while cooking. My favorite treats include dark chocolate with sea salt and almond, blueberries, anything coconut, Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia, and an ice cold IPA. Life is amazing. It can be for you too! I hope you’ll join me.
